We Have A New Hotel

Althea was just saying how thankful we are to celebrate 32 years of marriage (April 6th) with a new hotel.

After 14 years of owning the Jameson Inn in Winder, GA, we sold it on November 8, 2016.

I remember about 1999 God gave us the desire to own hotels. It took three years but after looking at what other hoteliers were doing we jumped in and began the journey.

I have learned a few things about real estate investing and so the challenge was to use the IRS code 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange provision, again, to move into a larger property and look to employ even more people.

Well, we recently closed on a Comfort Inn & Suites in Macon, GA. God is good and with His blessings we look to be a blessing.

Of course you all know God called me to encourage and equip people to be all that He made them to be. In answering that call, I remember what my mom said, “Make sure you practice what you preach”.
